Dreamland increases basket pop-up CTR up to 18%

What has been their challenge?

Dreamland, a retail brand from Colruyt Group, is known as being the go to place for everything to do with childrens toys. They have been collaborating with Froomle since 2018 and are continually looking to improve their user experience online in innovative ways.


How did we approach this case?

In 2020, Dreamland integrated the Basket Pop up Module on their website, showing shoppers personalized accompanying products to the one they put in their basket. To ensure the module performs at its best, we completed a variety of A/B tests compared to the first results seen in 2021. For these tests we also limited the categories to recommend from based on the context of the category being added to the basket.


This is the final result

Through our A/B tests on recommending different categories and subcategories, we not only improved the CTR, but we were able create an uplift of 20% on the average Conversion of the Basket Pop Up Module on Dreamland compared the performance in 2021. Specifically, items being recommended from the same sub category tended to perform better than the main category being purchased.
